A loud noise in the tensioning system after servicing the hydraulic system.

Today when turning on a Poma high speed quad, I pumped the hydraulic brake and hit a reset. Then a horrific noise came from the terminal. Bad enough to immediately hit a stop. Turned out to be air in the tensioning pump. We loosened the breath on the pump and manually pump the system. As we did so we noticed air escaping. Did that a bit then tried another rest. Pump struggled a bit more but sounded much better. We work the fluid around some more and now it sounds just fine.

Note: take caution to air when changing oil.
