MOUNTAIN OPERATIONS
Full Time / Year Round
Plan, supervise and coordinate assigned snowmaking operations. The majority of the work day and week will be alongside the crews. During the winters supervise 2 or 3 crew leaders and indirectly 30 snowmakers. Plan and conduct staff meetings and training programs. Confer regularly with the staff to plan and coordinate activities, assign and check work and resolve problems. Plan work schedules. Follow all safety standards and procedures. Perform duties in a manner to maximize safety and minimize risk to self and others. Provide superior service to our customers internally and externally at all times. Perform other tasks as assigned. High school diploma, plus technical training in mechanics, engineering or related technical field, plus 3-5 years of relevant construction and/or engineering experience, including some supervisory experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Candidate will have the ability to lift 50 to 80 lbs occasionally, and 0-50 lbs frequently and overhead, the ability to climb ladders and stairs and to work at heights on occasion as well as the ability to walk on uneven ground.
