Senior IT Systems and Network Administrator - Stowe Mountain Resort
The Senior IT Systems and Network Administrator will be responsible for monitoring, deployment, and troubleshooting of all resort IT networks and systems, as well as upgrades and new system deployments for Stowe Mountain Resort. The Senior IT Systems and Network Administrator must be able to manage and complete projects independently, provide technical leadership, and make certain decisions and recommendations based on experience, and an understanding of corporate compliance standards and best practices.
Job Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. 6-8 years experience deploying, supporting, and managing a large networked computing environment utilizing vSphere, SANs, Windows client and server operating systems, Cisco networking components, and Checkpoint firewalls. Competent to work at high levels of network, systems, and database design and troubleshooting. Proven analytical and problem solving skills, proven project management ability, and excellent communication skills are required. Ability to perform physical activities that include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions. Ability to perform medium work (defined as exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects). Visual acuity necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, for reporting, for transcription, for computer terminal use, for extensive reading, for visual inspection involving small defects and small parts, using measurement devices, and assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eye. Ski resort or hospitality experience is desirable. Strong experience is required with local and wide area networking, Windows 7, 2003, 2008, 2012, Active Directory, Exchange, vSphere, NetApp, Cisco networking products, and IP telephony. Familiarity with Active Network RTP|One, Microsoft DynamicsGP, and other resort applications is desirable. Ability to work weekend days and Holidays as required in the hospitality and recreation industry. Our company values are built around attitude, awareness and accountability.
