Sun Exposure: With intense sun exposure at an angle to the line can deform the towers. I believe some ski areas use heat shields on their tower shafts.

Movement of towers and tower foundations due to snow creep and ground movement: Check for signs of cracks and movement. Freezing, snow, rocks, running water, etc. can all have an impact.
