How's it going? My name is Martin i'm a lift mechanic from Snoqualmie Pass in Washington state in the US. Snoqualmie pass has 19 ski lifts (we're building a 20th this summer/fall). I've been a mechanic for 8 years, and got into lift maintenance through lift operations which has given me a good insight into the front line operations of a ski area, as well as who is actually operating the ski lifts that we spend so much time working on. I'm really excited about the possibilities of this site and having a platform for lift mechanics everywhere to have discussions and share ideas. No one understands the issues and problems that arise during winter and summer operations like another lift mechanic. I look forward to hearing from others out there and sharing some of the issues and solutions that I've have experienced over the years.
